Yanmar Signs Official Marketing Partner Contract with New York Red Bulls

Yanmar is proud to announce conclusion of an Official Marketing Partner contract with Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls. The partnership commences from the 2015 season. (The contract sum is undisclosed.) 

Yanmar established its own soccer club in 1957, and holds dear the passion, dreams, and spirit of challenge that soccer inspires. A main partner company of J. League’s Cerezo Osaka club, Yanmar has supported the team from the very start, and has seen some of its major players take on the world stage, among its best being Shinji Kagawa, currently a player at Borussia Dortmund. Also an Official Global Partner of Manchester United, Yanmar has been active supporting talented footballers, while also increasing its brand recognition in the world markets. 

In North America, Yanmar’s state-of-the-art diesel engine technology is widely employed by world-leading manufacturers in construction and agricultural machinery as well as a variety of other industrial equipment, and the company is continuing to provide high quality products and technologies to enhance customer satisfaction. 

Here, Yanmar is an Official Technical Partner of ORACLE TEAM USA, winners of the 33rd and 34th America’s Cup. Last year’s race has also become an opportunity for Yanmar to become acquainted with Red Bull’s philosophy, further leading to Yanmar’s forming this partnership with New York Red Bulls. 

Enthusiast supporters of world sports and athletes, Red Bull and Yanmar share similar core values, as well as the drive to take on challenges and deliver high levels of performance, proactively sustaining the development of sports around the globe. This parallel is the foundation of the unprecedented alliance between Yanmar and the New York Red Bulls. 

In its new role as a partner of New York Red Bulls, Yanmar is entering this alliance in a spirit of encouragement and support, while in turn striving to achieve increased levels of excellence in the various domains it operates in.

A first for sponsors other than Red Bull, Yanmar will have its corporate logo on the training jerseys of the players. In addition, Yanmar’s logo will be displayed on the stadium’s video boards, ADA wall signboards and field-level LED signage.  Yanmar is confident that this partnership will further promote the company’s presence and activities, and is looking forward to sharing great achievements together.
